Good news from Leeds City College

Leeds full time restoration course is back...

The full time car restoration course at Leeds City College will run again this year, after a hiatus of a year. The 2009 course was cancelled due to lack of applicants, and there was a concern that the same may happen in 2010.

Course tutor Mike Coman commented 'It's good that we are able to run this course again and we hope to build up interest in the other restoration courses we run via new links on Facebook, and new website where we will upload regular updates of the progress of students and projects.'

Applicants this year include two Fiat employees who have come over from Turin on a sabbatical. The course, which starts in September and runs over 36 weeks takes in steel body panelwork, fabrication and welding, paint
refinishing and mechanics.
