Silverstone Classic is the world’s biggest classic car racing festival held on the 23rd, 24th and 25th July, and we've got four VIP tickets to give away... Held over the weekend of 23 - 25 July, Silverstone Classic is one of those classic car go to events, with racing, classic cars and live music. This year's event is likely to be the best yet and we've got four VIP tickets to give away. The Silverstone Classic is much more than a glorious celebration of motor racing heritage, it is a complete event dedicated to providing a fabulous day or weekend out for everyone. On-track you can expect some hard core classic racing as 1000 racing drivers do battle in 800 cars spanning seven decades of motor racing heritage. In total, 23 races will cover Grand Prix cars, sports, GT, saloon and single-seater racing cars from 1930 to the 1990s. Live music will also be a big feature providing entertainment for the entire family. Major concerts will be held on Friday and Saturday evenings and are included in the price. Artists this year include Yardbirds, Dr Feelgood, Jedwood and the X-factor Finalists. On Friday evening a Classic Celebrity Challenge race will feature celebrities from radio, TV, music and entertainment racing to raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund. They will race around the Historic Grand Prix circuit in a half-hour race featuring a Le Mans-style pit-stop and driver change. Over 100 car clubs displaying 6000 privately owned classic cars will pack out the infield, while new for 2010 is an area dedicated to hot-rods. Group B rally cars of the early 1980s will also be on display, along with funfairs, shopping malls, hot-air balloon fly-outs and air displays. Children aged between 6 and 16: £5 per day. Those aged five and under: free. Ticket price includes car parking, grandstand seating, paddock access and live music.
