Sunshine, trailer-tents, exotica and Escort altercations.In the run up to this years Goodwood Festival of Speed I had been feeling a bit complacent. For the last two years the Enfield Pageant of Motoring has been blighted by the most horrendous weather imaginable.
Fortunately the folks of the EDVVC are made of hardy stuff and yet again organised this excellent show for the end of May bank holiday weekend. At last the weather smiled on them with good temperatures and cloudless skies.

Did three days of fantastic September weather and an almighty hoard of classics conspire to the best Goodwood Revival in history? Seth Kennedy finds out.
Three days of fantastic September weather helped make the 2008 Goodwood Revival perhaps the best in its history. The racing was close and hard fought and the atmosphere amongst the period buildings, attractions and fashions is simply unique.
