they don't look like the usual scrap metal they kill, maybe it will be a different sort of feature with a classic in this series. Were they being filmed? It might not be for top gear.

it was Kings Lynn.

Hammonds Lanchester had no MOT and docs and I think the hammer price was about a grand, Clarksons Sprite was around 3.5k and had to be pushed through, May got stitched up - the Ami was the last car he could bid on and went for 1500, around twice the estimate.

May always gets the rare/nicer cars but they always end up worst off.
The Princess he bought last time was gorgeous.
That Ami looks lovely too.
Like John-Saab says, they are likely to be ruined soon.

As it appears to have ben a public auction we all had the opportunity to bid and buy them so really we shouldn't be winging when they inevitably get trashed.

Hard to work out what sort of feature would use an Ami, a Sprite, and a Lnchester though!! It can't be about what you can get for the money, as they're all different prices, possibly different approaches to technology- the Lanchester's considerably more advanced than the other two as it'll likely have a Wilson box, the Sprite is horse and cart engineering, and the Ami is different again with it's 2CV front-rear interlinking........or maybe it'll simply be about how much water each one can hold while they get shot from cannon....
1968 Vitesse convertible-high octane boneshaker....1995 Rover 214 with K series twincam and elastic trickery boxes.....I ain't afraid of no MPi ECU!
